What you take away
Draft and check ordinary administrative documents, distinguish source facts from AI suggestions, record corrections and versions, use only necessary data, and escalate unclear or unauthorised uses to the responsible person.

A shared foundation course of six independent sessions for police officers and justice administrative staff: what generative AI is and where it fails, drafting and summarising work documents, verifying AI output, protecting personal data, limits and escalation, and using AI tools under institutional rules. 12 hours. - 02
Policing AI: Orientation
Choosing the task and the source, the limits of the tool, what never goes into a public tool, and keeping a person in control. Six sessions built on fictional administrative cases. - 03
Policing AI: Operational workflow
Drafting and checking agendas, notes, notices and administrative replies, keeping to the rule on public tools and checking every step. Six sessions built on fictional administrative cases, with a person in control. - 04
Policing: Work documents, sources and versions
Sources, versions, corrections and the handover of routine administrative documents, with every part touched by AI attributed. Six sessions built on fictional administrative cases, with a person in control. - 05
Policing: Administrative work data
Checking fictional tables and simple calculations, using only the data the task needs and taking care with small groups. Six sessions built on fictional administrative cases, with a person in control. - 06
Policing AI: Preparation for assessment
The closing sessions for police officers: structured exercises that prepare your professional judgement for the independent assessment, calibration on cases, and a development plan for after the course. 6 sessions. The assessment itself stays separate from the learning.
Assessment and qualification
The learning checks inside the courses are formative and qualify no one. Qualification is a separate, optional route: two human assessors review a sample of your work against the published rubric, and no AI takes part in the decision.
Pending professional ratification: the rubric used in the optional human assessment has not yet been signed by practising professionals in this field. Until it is, the programme is published as a learning programme.
