On completing the learning stages you can use AI tools in engineering documentation while keeping the engineering decision with the engineer; identify the technical rule or building provision that governs a decision and justify it; check AI output for invented values, unsupported calculations and missed safety requirements before anything is signed; and keep a record from which a decision can be reconstructed.
