What it develops
On completing the learning stages you can use AI tools in customs work while keeping the declaration decision with the broker; identify the customs provision that governs a classification and justify it; check AI output for wrong tariff headings, invented valuations and missed obligations before a declaration is lodged; and keep a record from which a classification can be reconstructed.

The foundation of customs practice: the customs agent's role, the boundary where AI helps and where regulated judgement stays human, the Customs Code and ASYCUDA e-customs, ethics and confidentiality.

Tariff classification in practice: the HS system and the Combined Nomenclature, the classification rules and the origin of goods.
